Forever Floating

...on waters that seemed to be endless. The seerseer was not bored...yet. She was well on her way down the path of Boredness.

The wombat, meanwhile, was still not supposed to be in the story, and was still very dead. And, also, it was still on the seerseer's feet. It twitched when it touched the water. The seerseer looked horrified. And was petrified with fear. She was a very superstitious woman--after all, she was as seerseer. Even in most sensible societies, twitching dead shoes are not a good sign. Shoes are not supposed to twitch. Shoes are supposed to sit on your feet and be annoying by cramping your footsy style. And messing up your toes.

The seerseer tore the shoes off her feet and flung them as far away as she could. They splashed, twitching, into the waters. She sighed with relief. That was the end of those creepy little things. Of course, now she had no shoes...

Now the seerseer was bored out of her mind. She started having strange out of body experiences.

First, her head was floating far away on the water, and she could see her body (headless body) sitting on the log. Her head exploded, then, and blew brains all over the water. The water turned purple and orange and began pulsing. The pulsating colors grew up around her and started closing in. Suddenly, she was flying, with the pulsing colors flowing out behind her like smoke behind a jet. Faster and faster--up and up until she was flying past huge, bright, burning stars and colorful, glowing planets. And then she ran herself over.

"Oops," she said. That was one word that existed even A.L.A. Then she was back. No more out of body-ness. She wasn't bored any more, either. She decided to start singing.

"Majoitsi malibu ipsu tolya! Da Noberdom! Da Noberdom!
Majoitsi taber dolfarm daber! Da Noberdom! Da Noberdom!
Majoitsi compewter fawn da! Da Noberdom! Da Noberdom!
Majoitsi ribbitsu..."

She had forgotten the rest of the song--despite the fact that she had been making it up on the spot and that it was all complete nonsense. She gave up.

  1. her song reminds me of when you do a template on Word, and it fills in the words with the Latinate nonsense. ^_^_^_^
