...is generally not in the best interests of anything or anyone. Unless you have been hired to scream shrilly for a movie. In that case, the best person to hire would probably be the seerseer, though her screaming would probably destroy all the speakers. Even if you did manage to record it, it would probably sound like a broken...something. Anyway, it wouldn't really work, and it's pointless to talk about it because it's not going to happen in this story because this story happens A.L.A.
The M.O.M. vanished, apparently deciding she had finished what she came to do, or maybe just because her ears were hurting so much that she just couldn't stand it anymore.
The seerseer stopped screaming. She now began to sob and weep silently, curled up on the ground. Dirt mingled with her tears and made mud. Soon she was lying in the middle of mud. Quite a bit of mud, too. She started to sink.
Thankfully (for her, not us--or, well, maybe not for either--I'm not sure), the thought of dying a slow and muddy death was not appealing, so the seerseer promptly stopped her weeping and silent sobbing and got up and out of the mud...pit. She looked at the berries in her hand, and to the wide seas she had been commanded to cross. She groaned. She was not a fan of work.
